DIRECT HIRE : A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer in the Columbus, OH. area. The Project Engineer will be responsible for providing a high level of project-specific administrative support for Project Superintendents. The Project Engineer will assist the onsite Superintendent with the control and organization of product documentation and detailed phase-by-phase tracking.
Salary Range : $85K - $95K

Responsibilities :
Tracks and analyzes labor productivityTracks General Contractor scheduleTracks Fabrication scheduleCoordinates material deliveries to job site and staging those materials as neededMaintains and tracks onsite material inventory as neededSupport for timekeeping as neededAttends job site meetings with SuperintendentWorks with the Project Manager and the Superintendent during planning / construction estimate phase to clearly defined and trackable task ordersProvides administrative support and / or tracking of other items such as schedules, meeting notes, safety inspection and daily logsAdditional Responsibilities :
Assists with scheduling meetingsAssist onsite personnel with administrative supportInvolved in task order breakoutInvolved in construction estimate and countsOverall field-install-material controlPre-loading / pre-scheduling BoM’s to be delivered at specific phases of the projectsCreating and issuing staging plans to vendorsManaging material handlers as neededDetermines what unit type by which to measure task order progressMaintains highlighted progress drawingsPhoto documentationCoordinates equipmentOrder and communicate with vendorsTrack and release equipmentSubmission and / or tracking of RFIs, Submittals and Change OrdersPosition Requirements :
License : Valid state driver's license as required by job conditions or by the companyCertification : None requiredEducation : Bachelor of Science in Building Construction or similar requiredExperience : Electrical experience preferred, but not requiredWorking Conditions :
