Job Description:

- Provide intake and psychological documentation and the resulting treatment pans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and aftercare plans
- Create, write, and present Cognitive Restructuring Anger Management educational lectures and corresponding workshops
- Facilitate Cognitive Restructuring Anger Management group counseling sessions
- Provide individual counseling, crisis counseling, and referrals for further service
- Responsible for ensuring continued professional growth & development and maintaining license and/or certificate educational requirements
- Demonstrates an understanding of the professional/ethical/safety/department procedure criteria
Additional Responsibilities and Duties
- Present at Classification Boards
- Participate in Teams meetings
- Comply with Accreditation requirements
- Demonstrates willingness to adjust schedule to reflect innate an/or program needs
- Actively participate in Clinical supervision
- Provide monthly statistical reports
- Other duties as assigned by management
Experience and Skills:
- CAC/CADAC or within one (1) year of being qualified for CAC, or AA, BA, BS and within two (2) years of qualifying for CAC, or Master's Degree
- Minimum of six (6) months experience working with clients in a Substance Abuse Treatment setting, correctional setting, or equivalent
- Ability to create and present unique educational & skill development lectures and workshops through knowledge of the 12-Step programs and disease concept of addiction
- Ability to implement Cognitive Behavior Curriculum and lesson plans
- Demonstrate professionalism and accountability
- Maintain federal confidentiality requirements
