What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prosthetic Artist - Finishing Technician position at Össur?
A Livingskin Prosthetic Artist - Finishing Technician completes custom matched prostheses designed to replace and restore upper and lower extremities. A variety of materials are used to construct custom armatures, sockets, fillings, and fingernails. Strong technical and artistic competency is required to accurately custom color match a prosthesis in accordance to Livingskin quality standards. - All employees must be aware, have knowledge and shall have received general training in Quality requirements of Össur. Training takes place in the Onboarding process and in New Employee Orientation. More specific Quality training is job specific.
- All training related to the quality management system is done in accordance to the Training Management Process (QM1681).
- Contributes to a safe working environment by maintaining own workspace and reporting any potential hazards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years’ experience in an artistic capacity demonstrating color matching skill
- High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Medical device experience preferred
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Ability to work hands on to find solutions to routine problems

The US base hourly range for this full-time position is $20.25 - $21.00 benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
