Responsibilities:**
*Housekeeping:*
- Execute daily cleaning tasks in resident rooms, common areas, and other designated facility spaces.
- Perform dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping floors for thorough cleanliness.
- Clean and sanitize various surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Ensure proper disposal of trash and waste from designated containers.
- Maintain the cleanliness of windows and mirrors throughout the facility.
- Replenish supplies in allocated areas as needed.
**Laundry:**
- Collect soiled linens, clothing, and personal items from resident rooms and common areas.
- Categorize and segregate items based on fabric type, color, and washing instructions.
- Operate washing machines and dryers for effective cleaning and sanitization.
- Fold, organize, and distribute clean laundry to designated areas.
- Manage inventory of linen supplies and make replenishment orders as required.
- Strictly adhere to infection control procedures during laundry processes.
**General:**
- Adhere rigorously to established safety protocols and guidelines while executing duties.
- Cultivate a positive and respectful attitude when interacting with residents, families, and staff.
- Promptly report any maintenance or repair needs to the relevant department.
- Actively participate in training programs related to infection control, safety, and job-specific skills.
- Collaborate in maintaining a welcoming and homely atmosphere for residents.
**Qualifications:**
- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in housekeeping and laundry, particularly in healthcare or long-term care settings, is preferred.
- Proficiency in proper cleaning techniques, chemical usage, and laundry processes.
- Competence in operating cleaning equipment and machinery safely.
- Exceptional attention to detail and effective time management skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Capability to lift and transport heavy items such as linens and cleaning supplies.
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and safety procedures.
