As a Health Unit Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth communication between medical staff, residents, and visitors, while maintaining organized and accurate records.
Duties:
- Coordinate patient appointments, admissions, and discharges efficiently.
- Maintain electronic health records using Rtasks system.
- Assist RN to keep up to date records of nursing clinical updates, annual review dates, and dates of contract change.
- Reordering medication.
- Willingness to assist with resident cares during staffing shortages.
- Perform administrative tasks to facilitate the daily operations of the Nursing department.
Skills:
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as Rtasks.
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes is advantageous.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks efficiently, and work in a fast-paced environment.
