General Job Description
As a member of the Leadership Team, the Director of Enrollment Management at St. Anne’s
Episcopal School is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the school’s enrollment
process. This includes: the admissions process of recruiting, selecting and onboarding new
families; the retention process of engaging current families; implementing strategic enrollment
strategies that enhance recruitment and retention efforts. This position reports to the Head of
School and works collaboratively with other school administrators and staff to ensure the
school’s enrollment goals align with its mission and vision. The Director of Enrollment
Management works closely with the Director of Marketing and Communications to create and
implement effective marketing strategies that attract prospective students .

Primary Responsibilities
Admissions
- Admissions Process Management: Oversee the entire admissions process from initial inquiry to application and school tour to final enrollment, ensuring a smooth, exceptional, and positive experience for prospective families.
- Prospective Family Engagement: Communicate the St. Anne’s story, mission and core values to prospective families, and partner with families through the application, enrollment and onboarding process to ensure a successful transition.
- Prospective Students Assessment: Collaborate with Division Heads to develop and implement an assessment process that is appropriate for each grade level, and collect feedback from all constituencies involved in the prospective student evaluation process.
- Application Review: Organize, evaluate, and review applications with the Admissions Committee to ensure acceptances are in alignment with St. Anne’s values, mission, and belonging and inclusion statement.
- Onboarding: Develop and implement ongoing programs that support new families’ integration into the school community, emphasizing inclusion and cultural competence.
- Collaborate with Primary, Lower, and Upper Divisions to develop and implement retention strategies that promote a diverse and inclusive school environment, and ensure families continue with St. Anne’s through graduation.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with current families, ensuring engagement and satisfaction.
- Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with families to address concerns, provide updates, and gather feedback, with a focus on inclusivity and respect.
- Retention Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to create a culture of retention amongst the entire St. Anne’s community to improve student retention rates.
- Collaborative Marketing Plan: Work closely with the Head of School and Director of Marketing and Communications to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan that highlights St. Anne’s.
- Brand Management: Ensure consistent and effective representation of St. Anne’s brand and values in all marketing materials and communications in collaboration with the Director of Marketing and Communications.
- Outreach: Organize and participate in recruitment events, festivals, open houses, and school tours, emphasizing St. Anne’s mission and core values.
- Partnerships: Establish and maintain relationships with feeder schools, community organizations, relocation agencies, local companies, and other relevant entities to support recruitment efforts
- Data Analysis: Analyze application, enrollment, and retention data and trends to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
- Forecasting: Develop enrollment forecasts and set annual enrollment targets in collaboration with the Head of School and the Enrollment Committee.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the school’s long-term strategic planning efforts by providing insights and recommendations on enrollment management.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on enrollment metrics and updates on goals for the Head of School.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in education, business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Experience in enrollment management, admissions, and/or marketing within independent schools is ideal. The school is, however, also open to candidates who have a strong track-record in sales and/or recruiting outside of education.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; proficiency in data analysis and strategic planning; ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. Experience utilizing online enrollment management systems, preferably Veracross, is ideal. If candidates are coming from another field, a demonstrated ability to learn and become proficient in customer service management database.
