St. Barnabas is hiring PCAs for multiple shifts at our Beaver location!
Essential Duties as Personal Care Attendant (PCA) :
- Provide residents with support in their activities of daily living, while promoting residents to function at the highest level of independence
- Assist residents with daily hygiene activities, transferring and ambulation
- Make daily resident and environmental rounds
- Monitoring resident safety & well-being
- Serve resident meals and deliver meal trays to resident rooms if needed
- Assist Food Service Department with plating of food, cleaning of tables, and cleaning of dishes as well as other food service duties as needed
- Perform basic housekeeping
- Wash, dry, fold and deliver resident laundry
- Encourages resident participation in activities, assist residents to / from recreational programs & assist with programs as needed
- Assist nurse with taking blood pressure, temperatures and weights
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
