Job Description

Job Title : Emergency Room Registered Nurse - Level 3

Job Specialty : Emergency Room Nursing

Job Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : 3x11.5 hours, Days or Nights (7 AM - 7 : 30 PM)

Guaranteed Hours :

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of recent ER RN experience

License : Valid RN License

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (mandatory)

Must-Have :

Ventilator experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Good written and verbal communication skills
COVID Vaccination Card

Job Description :

Assess patients' clinical conditions, recognizing, identifying, and interpreting serious situations.

Prioritize and immediately decide on and take proper action in emergency situations.

Initiate appropriate measures in emergencies when the physician is not immediately available.

Operate and monitor general and specialized emergency care equipment, such as infusion pumps, pulse oximeters, ventilators, and cardiac monitors.

Administer therapeutic measures as prescribed by the physician, such as medications, IV therapy, respiratory therapy, and mechanical ventilation.

Record observations, nursing interventions, therapeutic measures administered, and the status of coordinated activities between nursing and other professional disciplines.

Document specific health care requirements for patients and prepare written assignments to individual team members.

Plan and develop care delivery and implementation of the plan and coordinate the documentation of care.

Share responsibilities for maintaining adequate supplies and equipment, ensuring general upkeep of the unit, and preserving a safe environment.

May float to MS or ICU units.

Must work every other weekend and holidays.

Wear red scrubs.
