Job Title : RN Emergency Room Nurse - Nights
Job Specialty : Emergency Room Nursing

Shift : Nights, 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM, 3x11.5
Guaranteed Hours : Flexible
Experience : Minimum of 2 years of recent ER RN experience, Must have travel experience, Ventilator experience
License : Valid RN License
Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (Mandatory)
Must-Have : COVID Vaccination Card, Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task, Good written and verbal communication skills, Aware of possible float to ICU and MS units
Job Description :
- Assess patients' clinical conditions, recognizing, identifying, and interpreting serious situations, prioritizing, and immediately deciding upon and taking proper action.
- Initiate appropriate measures in emergency situations when the physician is not immediately available.
- Operate and monitor general and specialized emergency care equipment such as infusion pumps, pulse oximeters, ventilators, and cardiac monitors.
- Administer therapeutic measures as prescribed by the physician such as medications, IV therapy, respiratory therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
- Record observations, nursing interventions, therapeutic measures administered, and status of coordinated activities between nursing and other professional disciplines.
- Document specific health care requirements for patients and prepare written assignments, matching skills and abilities of staff to the care requirements of patients.
- Plan and develop care delivery and implementation of the plan, and coordinate the documentation of care.
- Share responsibilities for sustaining adequate supplies and equipment, general upkeep of the unit, and preserving a safe environment.
