What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN ASSISTANT NURSE MANAGER position at St Camillus Residential Health?
We are currently seeking a full time, Monday - Friday Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Assistant Nurse Manager to join our Team!
3 days per week you will be the AUM on a unit and 2 days per week you will function as an LPN on the units
Responsibilities :
This position is to assist in the management and coordination of all nursing activities for residents on the assigned unit. This management will be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that governs the facility and as directed by the unit Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing. The highest degree of quality care is to be maintained at all times. The Assistant Nurse Manager is delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out assigned duties.
Qualifications :
- A graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and possess current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- A strong nursing background in Medical Surgical, Neurology Program or similar healthcare setting is required.
- Exceptional leadership skills that foster department and interdisciplinary teamwork, morale, and productivity.
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal skills that promote employee engagement with supervisors, peers, and subordinates.
