St. Catherine University and the College for Adults and the Graduate College Admission team invites applications for an Account Manager/Assistant Director of Admissions position. This is a full-time position that works closely with prospective students.
The Account Manager/Assistant Director of Admissions works to conduct outreach to employer partners, and will work with prospective students to help them find their career path and then find the easiest way for them to get there! Our Admission office offers a fast-paced environment with colleagues who are passionate about St. Catherine University and about finding potential partners and students who are a great fit. This position represents our College for Adults and our Graduate College, managing prospective student relationships and administering admission procedures.
Responsibilities include:
The Account Manager/Assistant Director of Admissions works to conduct outreach to employer partners, and will work with prospective students to help them find their career path and then find the easiest way for them to get there! This position represents our College for Adults and our Graduate College, managing prospective student relationships and administering admission procedures.
Responsibilities include:
- Advise prospective students through 1:1 interactions (appointments, emails, phone, SMS), information sessions, and small-group presentations at all phases of their discernment and admissions process.
- Engage in a consultative sales approach to student recruitment, focusing on personalized service and removing barriers to matriculation.
- Maximize new student enrollment and meeting conversion, yield, and enrollment targets for their program portfolio.
- Act as the admissions liaison and partner with several academic departments within the University.
- Outreach to key external audiences and the employers, professional associations, colleges and universities, and other organizations with whom they are affiliated, to generate leads and contacts to feed the top of the enrollment funnel and to create and maintain organizational partnerships that generate tuition revenue.
- Assist with shared work of the Graduate College and College for Adults teams in shared operations.
Salary Range: $46,000 – $56,000

The salary range listed reflects a good-faith estimate of what we reasonably anticipate to pay for this position, based on market data and internal equity, at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, skills, and other relevant factors. St. Catherine reserves the right to modify or adjust compensation depending on University needs.
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS degree.
- 2 years of experience in university admissions or academic advising, or in consultative sales and customer advising in other industries.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to effectively represent the university to prospective students and other key external constituents, and energetically recruit graduate students, using a consultative sales approach,
- Ability to engage with institutional and other partners, using a consultative sales approach.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a high volume, fast-paced work environment.
- Understanding of effective skills and strategies for adult student recruitment and advising.
- Ability to work effectively in teams and build good working relationships with a wide variety of faculty and staff.
- Ability to understand and explain complexities of the University, academic and curricular policy to students.
- Ability to track and manage highly detailed data and procedure.
- Three to five years higher education experience preferred.
