Advertisement The Sponsored Programs, Research and External Engagement (SPREE) program at St. Catherine University invites applications for a full-time Grant Management Specialist.
This position supports the post award processes / activities for SPREE, assisting the University community with budget and compliance administration of sponsored programs. This position provides critical administrative duties to strengthen the SPREE infrastructure.
Responsibilities :
Post-Award Administration
Under guidance from the Sponsored Program Manager, manage awards in portfolio with duties that include :
- Set up funds and coordinate with the Business Office for expense management invoicing / draw-down, and reporting.
- Educate faculty / staff on budget management and management of their sponsored program.
- Track budget, P-card reconciliation, and compliance for assigned grants including, but not limited (e.g., Time & Effort Certifications, Financial Conflicts of Interest documentation, Responsible Conduct of Research).
- Support completion and submission of required reporting.
- Manage Participant Incentives tracking documentation.
- Close out award following SPREE policies and procedures including timely and accurate final reporting, close-out check list, and close-out meeting.
