This pivotal role is essential in ensuring the seamless operation of the division office, contributing significantly to the college’s commitment to educational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and current Windows operating systems.
  • Compose and manage correspondence, reports, and documents for faculty and the dean.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by welcoming students and visitors, addressing inquiries, and providing essential information.
  • Utilize a multi-line telephone system to manage calls and relay messages efficiently.
  • Organize and coordinate meetings and events, preparing agendas and transcribing minutes.
  • Maintain an efficient filing system and manage the entry of grades within the division.
  • Supervise and train office clerks and student assistants, enhancing their professional development.
  • Process and oversee bills, invoices, and personnel data forms accurately.
  • Monitor and order supplies for the division office, ensuring operational readiness.

Qualifications

  • An Associate’s degree (A.A.) or a minimum of two years of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates the necessary capabilities.
