Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a minimum teaching load of 15 credit hours each semester, delivering content in alignment with course descriptions, learning outcomes, and institutional policies.
- Develop course curricula and instructional materials, either individually or in collaboration with colleagues.
- Engage actively with student organizations, such as Phi Beta Lambda.
- Participate in departmental and college committees to support institutional goals.
- Assess student performance collaboratively with faculty peers.
- Strong verbal and written communication capabilities, with an emphasis on persuasive and engaging interactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe suite applications.
- Understanding of Quality Matters standards, or a willingness to learn and implement these standards.
- A commitment to regular and predictable attendance.
- A Master's degree or higher in a related field is mandatory.
- Experience teaching at the college level is preferred.
- Familiarity with online instruction is advantageous.
