St. Charles Health System is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist to join our multi-specialty team in Bend, Oregon. This role offers a diverse mix of clinic visits, hospital rounding, and procedures in a supportive, patient-focused environment. You ll collaborate with a team of medical professionals across our four hospitals in Bend, Redmond, Madras, and Prineville, serving a broad patient population with a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Clinical Care
Provide diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including upper endoscopies, colonoscopies, sigmoidoscopies, proctoscopies, and advanced endoscopic interventions (ERCP, EUS).
Conduct examinations, diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, and educate patients and families on GI health and disease prevention.
Participate in a GI call rotation of no more than 1 : 4, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule.
Maintain accurate patient records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), comply with health system policies, and participate in physician meetings.
