St Charles Nissan is located in St. Peters, MO and is now hiring for a Staff Accountant position. Role Responsibilities
- Oversee Factory Payables/ Receivables
- Inventory Control
- Prepare sales tax and all filing forms with state
- Reconcile wide variety of accounts, schedules, and parts factory statements
- Ensure proper input of all accounting data to prepare a monthly financial statement
- Post car deals to accounting
- Post factory warranty credits
- Oversee funding of car deals to ensure timely and accurate funding
- Coordinate and prepare month-end reconciliations for all accounts and year-end physical inventories.
- Accounting schedule clean-up
- Hands-on accounting position where you will be posting day-to-day transactions
- All aspects of the automotive accounting office
- Assist controller with special request
Requirements/Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Knowledge of CDK Drive DMS experience is a plus!
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills in fast-paced environment
- Proven experience and good understanding of all functions in the accounting office of an automobile dealership is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
