Job Overview
The Development Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the fundraising and development efforts of our organization. Duties
- Collect and analyze data to inform fundraising strategies and donor engagement efforts.
- Write compelling proposals for grants and funding opportunities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage and maintain databases to track donor information, contributions, and engagement activities.
- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns using platforms such as MailChimp to communicate with supporters and stakeholders.
- Oversee social media management, creating content that promotes our mission and engages our audience.
- Plan and coordinate events aimed at fundraising, awareness, and community engagement.
- Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for effective nonprofit management.
- Stay informed about wills, trusts, estate law, and other relevant legal frameworks that impact fundraising efforts.
- Design and implement educational programs that teach child abuse prevention within the county and city school systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data collection and analysis within a nonprofit context.
- Strong skills in proposal writing, particularly for grant applications.
- Familiarity with nonprofit management principles and practices.
- Knowledge of wills, trusts, estate law is a plus but not required.
