Administrative Assistant
EEO Class #6/Group #1 – Non-Exempt
Duties:
To serve as Administrative Assistant to the Regional Superintendent and the Assistant Regional Superintendent
- Perform all duties associated with assisting the Regional Superintendent and Assistant Regional Superintendent in ensuring successful operations of daily responsibilities associated with ROE services
- Serve as the direct communication link between the ROE and ISBE, district superintendents, principals, parents, businesses and community groups; disseminate pertinent information as needed
- Greet, assist and/or direct clients to appropriate ROE personnel
- Organize all required information to complete monthly, quarterly and annual reports as required by county and state regulations
- Schedule and coordinate all aspects of arrangements of conference rooms for special meetings/workshops hosted at the ROE
- Make and manage the appointment schedules for both administrative positions
- Attend meetings, record minutes, organize pertinent information and maintain accurate copies of all correspondence as required
- Maintain office supplies and ensure that orders are placed and available as needed
- Participate in professional development and provide recommendations to ensure ongoing top quality service to the St. Clair County community
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Requirements and skills:
- Resident of St. Clair County
- Associates degree or Administrative Assistant Certification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Microsoft Excel and Word
- Successful completion of fingerprint vendor licensure requirement within 6 months of hire
- Self-starter; exemplary analytical, critical thinking, evaluation, and solution-finding organizational skills
Salary : $28,600 - $36,200
