Summary
Responsible for serving patient trays on assigned units while demonstrating a commitment to excellence. Provides hospitable service to all patients while complying with dietary restrictions. Interacts with the nursing staff to obtain information related to patients’ dietary needs to ensure provision of high quality service.
Minimum Qualifications
- One year of customer service experience.
- Ability to read and follow written and oral instructions.
- Demonstrated ability to practice AIDET, customer focused communication that promotes the culture and values of the Hospital.
- Ability to remain calm and professional during periods of peak patient census.
- Ability to operate and enter information into a computer tablet.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Commercial or institutional food service experience.
