Job Title: Activities Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and coordinate monthly activity calendars to cater to the diverse needs of our residents.
- Implement engaging activities for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, ensuring a stimulating environment for all.
- Organize community events and outings that align with resident interests and needs, fostering a sense of community and connection.
- Suggest personalized activities for individual residents and their families to promote socialization and engagement.
- Visit room-bound residents to engage in one-on-one activities or assist them in interacting with others, as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of policies and procedures related to infection control, OSHA, safety, federal and state laws, and regulations.
- Ensure the daily maintenance of the department, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- Order and manage supplies necessary for planned activities.
- Complete assessments and programming documentation within specified timeframes, as directed by the Activities Supervisor.
- Assist with transportation for resident outings, as needed.
- Exhibit professionalism when interacting with residents, families, and staff.
- Foster a safe environment by adhering to OSHA guidelines and facility safety programs.
