Job Description
\The Activities Assistant/Coordinator provides individual and group activities appropriate to the needs and interests of each resident to promote well-being and quality of life.
\We are seeking a fun and friendly person with a great attitude and strong work ethic who is compassionate, caring, and patient.

Responsibilities:
\- Assist in developing and coordinating monthly activity calendars.
- Implement activities for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Offer suggestions of activities for individual residents and/or resident families.
- Visit room-bound residents to engage in one-on-one activities or assist residents in engaging with others as appropriate.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge and compliance with policies and procedures of infection control, OSHA, safety, as well as federal and state laws and regulations.
- Assist with daily maintenance of the department to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Order and maintain proper supplies for planned activities.
- Complete all assessments and programming documentation within specific timeframes as directed by the Activities Supervisor.
- Assist with transportation for resident outings as directed.
- Maintain a professional manner when dealing with residents, families, and other staff.
