Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities:
The Kitchen Assistant and After School Care Supervisor is a dual-role position responsible for supporting daily meal preparation and service in the school kitchen and providing supervision and care for students enrolled in the after school program. This individual will uphold a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and student engagement, in alignment with the school’s Christian values and mission.
Kitchen Assistant Duties (10:45-2:15):
- Assist with the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals according to the daily menu and food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and proper food storage.
After Care Care Supervisor Duties (2:45-5:45):
- Supervise and manage up to 30 elementary aged students (with an assistant)
- Coordinate and organize enrichment activities (indoor and/or outdoor)
- Develop and encourage daily study habits/homework time
- Create a safe and positive environment for all participants
- Develop and create a snack schedule
- Supervise assistants

- Kitchen Manager
- Principal
Contract:
- Part-time: Monday-Friday, 10:45-5:45
- Contracted days when school is in session
