As an adult league coordinator, you will build connections with our community members while providing an opportunity for adults to get active and make memories.

Pay
- $17-20 per hour
- Pay rate based on qualifications and experience
- Part-Time, Seasonal, Not Benefit Eligible
Hours of Work
- Hours include evenings and weekends.
- Hours based on program needs.
- Hours may be limited by inclement weather.
Typical Duties Performed
- Setup courts as necessary.
- Creating volleyball league schedules – single and doubleheader leagues.
- Maintain inventory and advise the Program Coordinator of any equipment needed.
- Assist Programming Coordinator with the creation and distribution of marketing materials.
- Record and post results into league management system.
- Communicate with team managers and players through mailings, email, and telephone.
- Educate on and enforce all park and recreation facility rules, regulations, and policies, maintaining a consistent discipline policy for all teams, managers, players, spectators.
- Assist Program Coordinator with the ordering of trophies, T-shirts, and equipment.
- Take appropriate actions to ensure the safety of all participants by preventing and responding to emergencies.
- Complete any necessary records and reports.
- Clean office area and/or restrooms.
- Open and close the facility safely and securely.
- Make decisions in an effective and efficient manner.
- Attend weekly meetings with Programming Coordinator.
- Show professionalism in all aspects of the job.
- Maintain confidentiality with co-workers, participants, and the public.
- Open and close the facility safely and securely.
- Assist in the facilitation of other programs as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What is needed to apply for this job?
- Job seekers should be age 18 or older
- Current CPR-AED/First Aid certifications or will to be certified
- Knowledge and interest in volleyball, and the rules that govern it
- Knowledge of volleyball court setup
- Knowledge of basic tournament brackets
- Evening & weekend availability
- Ability to lift/move 50 pounds
- Ability to complete tasks without supervision
- Leadership, decision-making, and public relations skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel
