What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Housekeeper (FT) position at St. Croix Casino?
JOB SUMMARY: Clean hotel rooms and common areas in a safe professional manner. Safeguard Hotel assets as well as customers personal property.
QUALIFICATIONS: Native American preference. Must be neat and conscientious. Must have good oral and written communication skills. Ability to work well with others as well as individually.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Must be able to understand and implement oral and written directions. Must be able to endure long stretches of physical activity to include bending, reaching, kneeling and stretching. Must be able to stand for an eight (8) hour shift. Must be able to carry loads up to thirty (30) pounds. Must be able to meet deadlines established by management. Must be able to tolerate cleaning chemicals.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Communicate well with management and co-workers. Maintain high cleaning standards established by management. Help safeguard Hotel property by immediately reporting any unsafe conditions or suspicious individuals to management. Handle and utilize various chemicals in a safe manner.
Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the position, adhere to and enforce all departmental and company policies, and attend all mandatory trainings. Must comply with and enforce all safety policies and rules.
