Job Summary

As a Nuclear Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures using radioactive materials and sophisticated imaging technology. This role involves close collaboration with other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Nuclear Medicine exams in compliance with medical protocols.
  • Administer radioactive materials safely and effectively as instructed.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures while explaining the process clearly.
  • Utilize and maintain advanced imaging equipment.
  • Document all procedures and maintain required radiation safety records.
  • Oversee quality control measures and adhere to safety guidelines.
  • Assist in department operations and contribute to team functions.
  • Qualifications

    Education :

  • Associate Degree in a related field.
  • Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
  • Experience :

  • Preferred one year of experience as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • License / Certification :

  • State Registered Radiologic Technician or Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist.
  • Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (CNMT) or ARRT (N).
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 60 months of hire.
