Job Description
- Identify, diagnose, document and as possible complete all service desk requests (including but not limited to telephone, voicemails, e-mail or web) for hardware and software support. Assign requests/incidents to the appropriate service group. Where applicable, manage the SARS application and create accounts in PeopleSoft and Active Directory.
- Resolve routine software and network applications problems throughout the Medical Center complex to maintain optimal usage of the system.
- Develop knowledge and understanding of all the information systems to provide professional and courteous support for various departmental end-users.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma
- Working knowledge of PC hardware and software (Microsoft Office, MS operating systems and MS Exchange).
- Good communication and organizational skills a must.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams
- Minimum of 6 months hospital experience or 1 year Service Desk experience
