What are the responsibilities and job description for the Long Term Substitute Middle School Math Teacher position at St. Francis Xavier Academy?
A teacher experienced in teaching students in grades 6-8. The preferred applicant has a strong background in math and is willing to collaborate with other middle school teachers. This applicant must have the vision, interpersonal and instructional skills to foster the total development of students. The successful candidate will be able to provide appropriate learning opportunities for students in a standards-based environment and have the ability to effectively evaluate student performance. The teacher plans and implements an instructional program that adheres to Archdiocese of Washington’s (ADW) goals, priorities and standards. The preferred candidate must meet the needs of all students and maintain accurate student and attendance records. The candidate will also need to exhibit excellent classroom management strategies that are appropriate in a Christian atmosphere.

Pay: $48,627.16 - $58,000.05 per year
