What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Facilities Associate position at St. George's School?
Position Summary: Under direct supervision, the employee will perform semi-skilled landscaping work, ice center work, painting, manual work to include furniture moving and other duties as assigned. This is a seasonal position that will run approximately May - August.
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to work independently or in a team environment.
- Detailed oriented and thrives in a learning environment.
- Assist in the set-up / takedown of special event programs.
- Available to work modified schedules
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Candidate must pass a nationwide criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, push or pull weights commensurate with work assignments.
- Must be able to work outdoors/ indoors and all weather conditions.
- Perform repetitive motions such as bending, stooping and shoveling.
Organizational Relationships:
- Internal: All departments, students.
- External: Alumni/ae, contractors, vendors
This is a seasonal position that does not include benefits.
