We seek a dedicated, passionate Religion Full-Time High School Teacher to join the St. Henry District High School team. The ideal candidate would be a practicing Catholic with a teaching certificate in Religion or a related field. In addition, will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment that fosters student engagement and academic success. This role requires practical communication skills, classroom management abilities, and a commitment to the educational development of high school students.
Duties
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards, focusing on the Catholic Religion.
- Utilize effective teaching methods to engage students in the learning process, ensuring comprehension of complex concepts.
- Manage classroom dynamics to create a respectful and productive learning atmosphere.
- Assess student performance through various evaluation methods, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues regarding academic progress and classroom activities.

Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field, with teaching certification in religion or a related field, is preferred.

- Proficiency in proofreading written materials to ensure clarity and correctness in student assignments.
