Manages all coordination of pool personnel and pool activities. Supervises safe, clean, and appealing club swimming facilities.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Generally, oversee all pool operations and personnel and coordinate any pool activity during or after official Club hours
- Maintain correct payroll records and schedules
- Develops positive relationships with Members and Guest
- Sets up and maintains a clean swimming area
- Attends staff meetings and trainings as required
- Enforces pool rules and regulations
- Possesses mature judgment and sound decision-making
- Be constructive in discipline, helpful in criticism, and enthusiastic in compliments
- Maintain and keep all necessary records concerning pool attendance, pool chemicals, accident reports, schedules, etc
- Attend Pool Committee meetings
- All other duties as assigned
- Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach
- Push, pull or lift to 50 pounds
- Continuous repetitive motions
- Work in a hot, humid and noisy environment
- Good communication and people skills required
- Committed to providing a high level of service, to exceed the expectations of our members
- Thoroughly understands specific state and local laws and statutes regarding pool safety and inspections
- Lifeguard training required
- Private club experience preferred
- Must be observant, safety conscious and able to react calmly and quickly to an emergency
- Professional, displaying strong work ethics and working effectively as part of a team
- Ability to fulfill assigned tasks quickly and efficiently
- Must be willing to work weekends and holidays as needed
