ST. JAMES LIVING CENTER, located in St. James, Missouri is currently seeking a Director of Social Services to join our team.
Director of Social Services Duties and Responsibilities :
- Demonstrates knowledge of age specific developmental factors specific to adult and geriatric residents (i.e. physical, cognitive, and socialization factors) in planning social services programs
- Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to plan social services programs for residents with the following needs : therapeutic, neurological and dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, and infectious diseases if applicable
- Promptly follows-up on admission inquiries, evaluates and assesses the needs of prospective residents to determine appropriateness of facility placement
