Part-time Junior Kindergarten Aide (4-5 Year Old Program)

OVERVIEW

St. James School is hiring a Ju ior Kindergarten Aide for ther 4-5 year old program. Candidates must be positive, gentle, caring, patient, and love working with young children.

RESPONSIBILITIES (The below description is illustrative of tasks and responsibilities. It is not meant to be all inclusive of every task or responsibility)

Promotes a classroom environment that is safe, caring, and nurturing

Prepare a learning environment that engages the 4-5 year old child

Support the Lead Junior KindergartenTeacher with classroom duties and tasks

Be an active member of a faith community and is open to the importance of personal faith journey; strives to model the teaching of Jesus by attitude and example

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Associates Degree

Experience and passion for working with young children

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience working with 4-5 year old children

Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education
