Overall Responsibilities:
To uphold the mission of St Joe Therapist LLC "To provide high-quality and compassionate behavioral healthcare to our clients, their families, and the community through a comprehensive array of services for the very best clinical outcomes.”
Described Duties:
· Collaborate with St Joe Therapist LLC providers and supervisors to achieve the goals and objectives of St Joe Therapist LLC.
· Treat all individuals respectfully, including patients, fellow employees, management, customers, vendors, and visitors.
· Assess, diagnose, evaluate, and treat behavioral health disorders.
· Plan treatment based on individual client needs and available resources, both clinical and community.
· Coordinate with other professionals involved in patient care to ensure interdisciplinary collaboration and continuity of services.
· Provide a continuum of short- and long-term psychotherapy services.
· Maintain ongoing record keeping and case review of all psychotherapy work in compliance with State guidelines.
· Perform all duties with professional standards, including maintaining patient confidentiality.
· Provide assessments (via telehealth and in person) of the dangerousness and immediacy of crisis situations.
· Design and implement appropriate interventions in crisis situations.
· Represent St Joe Therapist LLC to the community in a professional manner.
· Maintain pertinent patient information in medical records.
· Complete required documentation in electronic medical records according to policy.
· Attend staff meetings as requested.
· Complete annual training requirements.
· Engage in a minimum of 25 hours of billable client contact each week.
· Perform related work as required.
Essential Job Functions:
· Provide healthcare services efficiently in a healthcare environment; physically assist patients as needed; exhibit fine motor skills, precise eye/hand coordination; walk, talk, hear, see, kneel, lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds.
· Assess, treat, and diagnose a wide variety of patients/clients with accuracy, proficiency, and efficiency at an advanced professional level.
· Use evidence-based instruments to assist in the treatment of clients.
· Utilize critical thinking skills to interpret a variety of complex situations.
· Communicate with patients and office staff with tact and patience using good communication skills.
· Possess cognitive skills necessary to understand terminology, medical records, instructions, and problem-solving.
· Must be able to talk, hear, react, stand, kneel, and lift.
· Have basic computer skills.
· Possess light typing skills and computer knowledge, demonstrating accuracy, proficiency, and efficiency.
· Comply with the provisions of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996.
· Perform effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Must be able to sit for long periods, talk, hear, and speak cautiously.
· Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
Qualifications:
· Master’s degree from an accredited university in a mental health field with documented clinical coursework and field experience.
· A broad background of training and experience with various patient populations and modes of service delivery.
· Master’s level or higher license in the State of Missouri.
· Possess and maintain liability insurance.
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
