Job Description
The office secretary is a part-time position with St. John Ev. Lutheran Church. This position reports to the Office Manager and works in collaboration with the Church Council and Designated Boards. Work hours are scheduled during the days of Monday through Thursday, from 9 AM to 3 PM. Compensation based on experience.
Essential Functions
To coordinate and support worship ministry with the preparations of appropriate documents and the scheduling of ministry support and maintaining the membership database and directories. Assist with member and visitor inquiries. General office duties to include data entry and bookkeeping functions.
Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age with a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Positive employment record. Background check required.
- Proficiency with Google Drive (docs, spreadsheets, slides and sites) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
