PRINCIPAL CHURCH ORGANIST AND ACCOMPANIST / PART-TIME
The Principal Organist and Accompanist will serve a large role in the music ministry of St. John’s Lutheran Church. They will be responsible for participation in planning music for services, playing the organ for Sunday worship, piano accompaniment for adult choir, and collaborating with other musical providers in both traditional and blended praise music primarily for the 11:00am worship at St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Salary will be commensurate with education and experience
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an organist
- Knowledge of liturgic practice and use of music in worship
- Strong sight-reading abilities and improvisational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with choirs and other musicians
- Familiarity with organ maintenance and tuning
- Bachelors degree in music, church music or other related degree is preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
