What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at St. John Paul II School?
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Head of School. The position of Administrative Assistant contributes to effective public relations for the purpose of responding to inquiries from staff, students, parents, the public, etc.; providing requested information and/or referral to other parties directing visitors; and providing clerical support to the Head of School.
Hours are 9-2 Monday - Thursday
Accountability
● Appointed by the Head of School
● Reports to the Head of School
Responsibilities
● Generates correspondence, mailings, and reports as needed
● Interacts with a variety of constituencies including students, families, staff. vendors, benefactors, Diocesan staff, community members, etc.
● Maintain organization of and cleanliness of the Advancement Suite.
● Welcome visitors (e.g. public, parents, students, vendors, staff, etc.) courteously;
respond to their inquiries.
● Oversee the Head of School’s calendar
● Performs record keeping and general needs to perform specific clerical functions (e.g. scheduling, copying, faxing, etc.) for the purpose of disseminating information to appropriate parties.
● Other duties as assigned
