Hours: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Pay: $50.47 - $54.98 per hour
Job Description:
The CT Special Procedure Technologist performs CT/routine radiographic procedures and participates in interventional radiographic procedures in accordance with established department procedures and hospital policy.
Responsibilities:
- Performs CT/routine radiographic procedures
- Participates in interventional procedures
- Prepares and administers oral contrast media for patient consumption
- Observe patients during examinations
- Produce radiographs of designated portions of the body in accordance with physician's order
- Ensure proper functioning of equipment
- Clean equipment and make minor adjustments as necessary
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a radiological technologist required
- Prior experience working in the field of special procedures preferred
- NYS License to practice as radiological technologist required
- CT certification preferred
- High School diploma required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Should meet requirements for registry by ARRT
Salary : $50 - $55
