St. John’s, a dynamic and collaborative K–12 independent school, is seeking a hands-on IT Technology Support Specialist to join our team immediately. This 12-month position supports a multi-platform environment across campus and requires strong technical and interpersonal skills, a team-oriented mindset, and a commitment to excellence. The role provides first-line support for a wide variety of devices and systems used by faculty, staff, and students during school hours (7:30AM to 4PM).
Key Responsibilities:

Support platforms for end users across Windows, macOS, iPadOS, and ChromeOS

Set up, configure, modify, maintain, and document laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printer, interactive displays and other school technology deployments

Assist with resolving network and wireless connectivity issues

Support faculty and staff with basic audio/visual and classroom technology needs

Resolve tickets representing staff-generated technical requests or problems and troubleshoot technical and process issues to maintain productivity and active records.
Qualifications/Skills:

2 years of IT support experience, preferably in an educational setting

Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills

Proficient in troubleshooting basic networking, printers, and AV equipment

Able to manage priorities and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment

Comfortable explaining technical concepts to non-technical user
