REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education: (Required)
- High School Diploma
Experience: (Required)
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Supervisory and managerial skills to supervise mobile clinic operations.
- Ability to work with staff and patients to solve problems and provide the highest level of patient satisfaction.
- Non-judgmental, empathetic, caring individual with the ability to listen well and to demonstrate confidentiality and respect for clients of all ethnic, religious and socio-economic groups.
- Basic computer skills
Licensure/Certification:
- Requires CA driver license and insurance for travel to community events, assignments and outreach duties.
- CAA Certification.
- Employees are responsible for maintaining individual certifications as required by job function or by law and provide verification and recertification when requested by management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plans, organizes, coordinates, and administers the activities of the Mobile Health Clinic and the monthly calendar.
- Assists the Director of Operations with the development of informational materials to promote accurate public understanding of clinic activities, services, and requirements.
- Coordinates with Facilities Manager regarding maintenance and janitorial services for Mobile Clinic.
- Assists the Director of Operations in developing and establishing clinic goals and objectives for the mobile clinic.
- Assists the Director of Clinic Operations in the development of the program budget.
- Responsible for clinic productivity and administration of billing duties.
- Responsible for the registration of patients and maintenance of data and records, assists in analyzing data including number of patients seen at mobile unit, exams, enrollments and other data and prepares program activity reports and statistical materials for management review.
- Trains and determines work assignments and priorities, and participates in personnel selection of mobile clinic staff.
- Coordinates across departments to ensure all needs are met: Facilities (driver scheduling and any advancing needed); Public Affairs (communications/media relations, materials); Community Relations (outreach staff); Clinical (provider, RN and MA scheduling).
- Conducts meetings to resolve problems, address issues, discuss clinic goals and objectives, and disseminates information.
- Ensures program compliance with applicable regulations.
- Orders and maintains supplies, arrange for equipment maintenance, and keeps reception area organized
- Inputs patient information and demographics into computer system.
- Professionally deals with confidential and sensitive issues.
- Maintains patient flow and reduces waiting time as much as possible.
- Schedules appointments for patients and specialty care.
- Collects co-payments and/or fees and donations, processing them as directed by clinic processes.
- Practice Management System (PMS) Registration, Scheduling, and Billing.
- Sends out records when requested by other offices.
- Other duties as assigned.
