Server / Bartender positions available at Saint Johnsbury Country Club, Saint Johnsbury, Vt
Flexible shifts - Days or Early Evenings, We can work around a college schedule or another part time position if your availability and job performance are a good fit. Restaurant opens on or about May 10 and usually closes the first week of November.
Job Openings:
Part-time. 2-5 shifts weekly based on your availability and performance. Starting pay: $7.01/hr plus tips.
Full Time: Bartender / Lead Server/ Trainer who have solid experience willing to take a lead role in the front of the house. Up to $10/hr commensurate with experience.
Applicant must be friendly, professional and reliable. Must be computer friendly, able to multi task and be a team player. A good sense of humor is always a plus.
Responsibilities include serving guests tableside in dining room, banquet room or outside patio , maintaining the cleanliness of the bar and dining area, restocking your work area and setup for occasional events. Other responsibilities include:
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations. Must have Vermont DLC Server Certification which allows you to serve alcoholic beverages to our patrons.

You must be able to work proficiently when restaurant is crowded and use down time effectively during slower periods.

If you have similar experience we may consider your application if you are a quick learner. If you are hired, you will need to have a Server 1st class Training Certificate (Test taken online) before you can start working here.
