Schedule: 10:00 am-2:00 pm Monday - Friday
Salary: $15.00/hour
Position Description
St. Joseph AME Church has an immediate, part-time opening for a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to help keep our office running smoothly and efficiently.
Potential candidates must have strong communication and organizational skills and be proficient in the use of standard office tools and processes. They should have excellent interpersonal and computer skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Office suite of programs, email platforms, internet navigation, and social media platforms. Experience with creating publications and graphic design is a plus.
Must be proficient in use of on-line conferencing programs such as Zoom, Google Hangout, Skype. Must be knowledgeable with social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. Knowledge of publishing software for creating visual communications such as brochures, business cards, greeting cards, web pages, and posters a plus and will get you an interview.
