St. Joseph Catholic Church in Trenton, Immaculate Heart of Mary in Princeton and Blessed Sacrament in Bethany is seeking a part time secretary/bookkeeper who will be responsible for the secretarial duties and financial records of the three parishes.
Essential Duties:
· Greet visitors and answer phones.
· Maintain parish records.
· Prepare reports.
· Provide clerical support to pastor.
· Perform basic office duties, i.e., maintaining supplies, cleaning, etc.
· Process all parish donations.
· Prepares and distributes all end of the year giving reports.
· Track and schedule all parish maintenance.
· Oversee parish hall rentals and coordinates the use of other physical spaces needed for the mission of our parish.
· Create and track the budget throughout the year.
· Prepare budget reports for the finance council and the parishes.
· Prepare the annual Diocesan reports.
· Process accounts payable and receivable.
· Prepare and publish weekly bulletin.

· Familiarity with the Catholic understanding of ministry is an asset.
Qualifications:
· Experience with accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and financial transactions.
· Experience in bookkeeping.
· Experience using Quick Books.
· Intermediate skill level using Microsoft Office products.
· Experience using Microsoft Publisher is preferred.
