We are looking for a dynamic leader to join our Pastoral Team as Director of Youth Ministry!
The Director of Youth Ministry provides parish youth of all ages with opportunities for personal and spiritual growth so they may be empowered to live out their baptismal call to be disciples of Jesus and may be connected more closely to the life and mission of the Catholic Church
The Director of Youth Ministry will lead the following key activities:
- Be a spiritual presence at St. Joseph Grade School, participating on the faculty Catholic t team, leading the Junior High retreat, participate in recess/lunch duty to deepen relationships with students; lead classroom faith-based activities and work with the Principal and Pastor to create opportunities for students to be disciples of Jesus and connect to the life and mission of the Catholic Church.
- Lead regular Junior High and High School youth group meetings with opportunities for prayer, reflection, catechesis, evangelization, service leadership development and community building.
- Build relationships with teens of the parish, providing pastoral care and spiritual guidance
- Organize and lead service opportunities for youth throughout the year
