JOSEPH CHURCH BREAD OF LIFE COMMUNITY Job title: Office Administrator/Parish Accountant Location: St Joseph Bread of Life Community Reports to: Pastor/ Finance Council Moderators Classification: Exempt full time Description: This position is responsible for the accounting functions of the partnered

Parishes to include required bookkeeping entries, report preparation, AR & AP,

account reconciliation, preparation of annual financial reports and budget, and

payroll processing to ensure compliance with Diocesan financial requirements

and Parish mission standards.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Embrace the mission and vision of the Sacred Heart of Jesus-St Joseph Church Bread of Life Community .•Bookkeeping for routine functions associated with recording cash activities, processing invoices, and preparing checks for approved expenditures as well as reconciling Parishes’ cash accounts. •Maintain personnel files for current Parish employees and process new hires and terminations. •Prepare and distribute monthly and annual financial reports and prepare the annual budgets as needed •Maintain records for any special need or trust funds .•Make bank deposits .•Process payroll •Other duties as assigned by the pastor or Finance council related to Parish business and financial activities.•Complete all necessary functions for monthly and yearly financial statement reconciliations.•other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

•Intermediate level Accounting experience minimum of 5 years. •Excellent written and verbal communication skills. •Very strong organizational skills. •Ability to multi task and work in a religious team environment. •Strong MS Office and Excel skills .•Demonstrated skill with Quick Books accounting software on line version. •Demonstrated office administration background/Skills.

Compensation: Salary Commensurate with experience. Health insurance, PTO/vacation,

401 (k), paid holidays, bereavement leave.
