Position Summary

Staff Nurse responsible for providing clinical services through co-worker health/wellness programs. Provides a variety of occupational health services to ensure co-workers are functioning in optimal physical condition and are physically suited for their position. Provides Worker's Compensation assessments for co-workers injured on the job.

Core Job Functions
- Co-workers are evaluated annually per department policy to assess their health. Follow up and referrals are conducted as appropriate per policy.
- Vaccination programs, Drug Free workplace, TB Surveillance, Respirator fit testing, Post Exposure treatment and other testing are administered as needed. Provides worksite evaluations, ergonomics and Job Placement reviews as needed. Oversees the testing conducted by PCT staff, confirms all non-negative drug screens
- In collaboration with the sponsoring physician, establishes protocols and clinical guidelines. Administers programs as assigned. Maintains documentation and reports trends.
