- Guide new employees through the onboarding process.
- Coordinate orientation sessions, paperwork completion, and training schedules.
- Ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
- Serve as a resource for new hires, and secretaries, offering guidance and support.
- Address their queries, provide information, and assist with any challenges they encounter.
- Foster a welcoming and supportive environment.
- Plans, schedules, and conducts annual professional development for all secretaries.
- Trains personnel in the appropriate computer programs and software.
- Assures all secretaries are following District approved phone and email etiquette, as well as greeting visitors with sophistication and professionalism.
- Trains personnel in the proper job-related job techniques.
- Contribute to improving onboarding programs and continuous learning initiatives.
- Mentor secretaries during the implementation of new procedures.
- Collaborate with HR and management to enhance the overall employee experience.
- Must maintain appropriate grooming and appearance to work in a school setting.
- Knowledge of computers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Required: High School Diploma or GED. Extensive, practical experience in all areas of their job responsibility required. Must have in-depth computer experience and the ability to adapt to new programs, have excellent communication skills and the ability to train and mentor while building positive office relationships.
Preferred: Specialized training in supervision of personnel, management, communication skills and accurate record keeping preferred.

Purpose: This person will ensure smooth onboarding and integration of new hires. You’ll act as a bridge between SJSD and its newly hired employees, facilitating communication, addressing concerns, and promoting a positive experience. Essential Job Functions:
