Responsible for the procurement of supplies and equipment as required to maintain the highest possible degree of support to patient and employee needs. Performs a variety of duties which includes purchase materials, equipment, and supplies according to hospital guidelines for cost, quality, and delivery. Handles special buying and expediting assignments. Performs various clerical assignments to support the purchasing process and the Purchasing Department.Work requires High School Diploma or GED. Associates degree preferred. Experience in hospital purchasing preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
