St. Louis County is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Infrastructure Manager to oversee and manage the diverse St. Louis County IT infrastructure environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our IT systems, network, and data centers. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership capabilities and a passion for technology.
The salary range reflected above is the normal hiring range for 2025. The full salary range, including longevity pay, is $42.27 - $61.14 per hour.
This position is part of the Civil Service Supervisory Unit Employees Collective Bargaining Agreement represented by the St. Louis County Employees Association.

Distinguishing Features of Work
An employee in this class is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the activities of an assigned functional area in the Information Technology Department. Duties include managing the staff, equipment, and budget resources; planning and managing a variety of department projects; developing short and long range plans for acquiring, implementing, and managing information technology solutions; assisting in the preparation and management of the department budget; coordinating plans for overall IT systems, including capacity planning; and planning & coordinating the training and development of department staff. The work is performed under the direction of the Information Technology Director.

Selection Process
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Pass / Fail) :
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in a computer science, information systems, management information systems, information technology, business administration or a closely related field AND eight (8) years full-time paid verifiable increasingly responsible related experience where at least one year was in a supervisory role; OR graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate's degree in computer science, information systems, management information systems, information technology, business administration or a closely related field AND ten (10) years full-time paid verifiable increasingly responsible related experience where at least one year was in a supervisory role; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience as determined by the Human Resources Director.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
