SERVICE TECHNICIAN for POWERSPORTS/MOTORSPORTS

St. Louis Powersports is seeking a dependable and experienced Service Technician able to join the team at our Chesterfield location. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Diagnosis and repair of motorcycles, ATV’s, UTV’s and watercraft including Polaris, CanAm, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Sea-Doo, Honda and Yamaha

• Guarantee accurate and timely vehicle diagnosis, maintenance and repairs

• Ability to look up OEM parts on microfiche as well as find aftermarket parts in catalogs

Service Technician job qualifications:

• Must own necessary hand/air tools to repair all brands of vehicles

• A working mechanical knowledge of modern powersport vehicles including Polaris, CanAm, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Sea-Doo, Honda and Yamaha

• Ability to lift and carry heavy product and equipment

• Have and maintain a satisfactory driving record

• Highly self motivated and able to take initiative on jobs and tasks that need to be performed to provide excellent customer service

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team and possess a professional customer focused attitude

• Proficient listening and excellent communication skills with other employees and service managers/advisers/technicians as well as capable of following written instructions and procedures

• Great punctuality with reliable transportation

• Ability to work a Tuesday through Saturday schedule

• A “can do” attitude with organizational skills and great work ethic in a team environment

• Work hard and efficient

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
