St. Louis Public Library is seeking a Junior Systems Administrator to join our team. Our ideal candidate is someone who is innovative and engaged to help us move forward with our primary mission as a customer-centered public library, providing vital services to the people of St. Louis. The Junior Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining staff and public desktop software, as well as ensuring that all workstations are up to date.

This position will work in the heart of the St. Louis Public Library system in the library administration building. Located in Downtown West, the administration building is next door to the renowned Central Library, an architectural masterpiece designed by Cass Gilbert, and steps from all the shops, restaurants, and entertainment that downtown St. Louis has to offer.

In This Role You Will
- Monitor & remediate SCCM Client status and issues, while ensuring the SCCM endpoint structure integrity remains intact
- Perform Veeam air-gapped backups, remediates air-gapped related errors and issues.
- Work as primary lead administrator of Automox at the direction of the Manager of IT Infrastructure.
- Assist in leading the Windows desktop image creation process, manage the imaging (MDT) library, and ensure that the imaging library (MDT) remains up to date.
- Configure updates, documents, and test audio and video production software.
- Design applications and other specialty software for Creative Experience computers.
- Configure, test, and schedule the deployment of new Windows desktop images and applications using System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Automox.
- Work as a Level 2 support, resolving escalated requests from Level 1 support.
- Assist with Google Admin configuration and administration.
- Assist with other projects as needed.
- Able to acquire and apply new knowledge and skills.
- Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Able to work independently.
- Available to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- High School Diploma with Six months to one year related experience and/or training
- MCP, A , or Server certification required
- Solid technical background and experience in software support, Windows desktop imaging, and industry standard software integration practices.
- The following Computer Skills:
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
- Windows Operating Systems, specifically Windows 10.
- Google Admin Console.
- Microsoft System Center.
- Command line scripting.
- PowerShell Scripting
